MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Vladimir Oblast are well-positioned to advance cooperation in the agricultural industry, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Brantsevich said at a meeting with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Vladimir Oblast of the Russian Federation Alexander Sedov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
This meeting took place in furtherance of the agreements reached during the working visit of the Belarusian delegation headed by Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar to Vladimir Oblast in late May.
According to Tatiana Brantsevich, Belarus and Vladimir Oblast have well-developed agricultural industries. “We have a significant potential for implementing joint projects and deepening cooperation in this sector,” she stressed.
The meeting outlined the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. In particular, the parties discussed joint investment projects to manufacture dairy products in third countries. The parties also expressed mutual interest in seed breeding and crop production and exchanged experience in land and property relations.
