ORYOL, 11 February (BelTA) - Belarus is eager to take part in the Russian national projects in Oryol Oblast in terms of construction of social facilities and to build a multi-brand center for Belarusian machinery in the region, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik told the media following he talks with Governor of Oryol Oblast Andrei Klychkov in Oryol, Russia on 11 February, BelTA learned.
"We reviewed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed the participation in the construction of social facilities, schools, and medical institutions. We took a look at a project to build a multi-brand center to service Belarusian machinery. Last year Belarus supplied more than $10 million of it," Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik noted.
He also noted the growth of Belarusian exports to Orel region. "We have agreed to draw up a matrix of interaction between Oryol Oblast and Belarus and assign point men for every project," the ambassador said.
"We have discussed in detail the issues of technological interaction, the participation of Belarusian companies in the national projects. We are extremely interested in this. We know Belarusian contractors as responsible, efficient, and performing work on time. Therefore, we will consider a possible mechanism of interaction," Governor of Oryol Oblast Andrei Klychkov added.
