The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Belarus and Krasnoyarsk Territory, paying special attention to ways of expanding the volume and range of supplies of Belarusian engineering goods and public transport, including taking into account the regional motor fleet upgrade programs. Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik informed the partners about the export support and lending instruments available for purchasing Belarusian machinery.
The parties outlined promising points of growth, primarily in manufacturing. They agreed that the region's favorable geographical location, its transport and logistics capabilities, and the human resources and educational potential make it possible to implement large-scale joint projects to assemble, localize and maintain Belarusian machines and also to set up a Belarusian multi-brand center. The ambassador also suggested using the design and construction capabilities of Belarusian organizations in the construction of social facilities in the region and metro in Krasnoyarsk.
The parties welcomed the high level of interaction between Belarus and the Russian region in education, culture, and sport. An agreement was reached to promote youth exchanges, including in the context of the effort to preserve the memory of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The parties considered the program of a visit of the governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory to Belarus. Belarus will send a delegation from among representatives of Belarusian industrial flagships to the Russian region to detail the agreements reached.
