MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Bashkortostan, Russia will strengthen cooperation in the energy sector, the Belarusian national energy company Belenergo told BelTA following a meeting with a delegation from the Russian region.
Konstantin Klimin represented the Republic of Bashkortostan under the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Belarus. The Belarusian side was led by First Deputy Director General and Chief Engineer of Belenergo Yuri Shmakov. The parties discussed key aspects of cooperation, the supply of machinery and equipment for Belarusian enterprises.
Yuri Shmakov expressed Belarus’ strong interest in active cooperation with Bashkortostan, including the delivery of high-quality raw materials and components, and in sharing expertise and technologies.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to hold consultations and meetings with representatives of interested enterprises and organizations.
