Belarus, Russia's Adygea map out plans to step up economic cooperation

MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – Deputy Chairman of the Belgospishcheprom Concern Aleksandr Yakovchits has met with Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Russia's Republic of Adygea Zaur Sheudzhen, BelTA learned from the Belgospishcheprom Concern.

The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Adygea to the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow. The parties discussed progress to implement the 2024-2026 cooperation agreement in trade, economy, science, technology and socio-cultural matters signed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Adygea and the Government of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the concern, the first official visit of a delegation from Adygea to Belarus took place at the end of March this year. The delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mahmud Tlehas. The parties outlined promising areas of cooperation in education, industry, agriculture, and other spheres and named the increase in trade as the priority target of economic cooperation.
