MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are developing cooperation in cargo and passenger railway transportation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.
Head of Belarusian Railways Vladimir Morozov met with Oleg Belozerov, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Russian Railways, in Moscow to discuss promising transport and logistics mechanisms for the delivery of Belarusian and Russian cargoes.
On the agenda of the meeting was also optimization of passenger services in communication between the two countries and increase of their frequency, joint tourism projects. The parties discussed cooperation in industrial cooperation as well.
