MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – In January- February 2024 retail turnover
totaled Br12.4 billion, up by 12.6% year-on-year in comparable prices,
BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
One-day retail sales per capita came at Br22.4 vs Br19.3 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 94.7% of retail sales. In January-February 2024 they reported Br11.7 billion in retail sales, up by 13.6% over January-February 2023 in comparable prices.
In January-February 2024 wholesale sales amounted to Br26.7 billion, up by 8.1% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-February 2024 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br859.5 billion, up by 9.2% year-on-year in comparable prices.
