MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) — In January-July 2024 retail turnover totaled Br49.4 billion, up by 11.8% year-on-year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br25.3 as against Br21.9 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 94.9% of retail sales. In January-July 2024 they reported Br46.9 billion in retail sale volume, or up by 12.7% as against January-July 2023.
In January-July 2024 wholesale sales amounted to Br104.9 billion, or up by 8.1% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-July 2024 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br3.4 billion or up by 11.8% year-on-year.
