MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – In January 2024 retail turnover totaled Br6.2 billion, up by 9.9% year-on-year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br21.6 as against Br18.6 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 94.7% of retail sales. In January 2024 they reported Br5.8 billion in retail sale volume, or up by 10.8% as against January2023.
In January 2024 wholesale sales amounted to Br13.1 billion, or up by 10.1% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January 2024 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br430.9 billion or up by 6.4% as against January 2023.
