MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – In January-June 2024 retail turnover totaled Br41.6 billion, up by 11.5% year-on-year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br24.9 as against Br21.7 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 94.9% of retail sales. In January-June 2024 they reported Br39.5 billion in retail sale volume, or up by 12.4% as against January-June 2023.
In H1 2024 wholesale sales amounted to Br88.7 billion, or up by 7.8% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In H1 2024 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br2.9 billion or up by 11.7% as against H1 2023.
