Belarus reduces export duties on oil, oil products

MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) – On 1 June 2022 Belarus reduced export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in line with the Council of Ministers' resolution No.345 of 28 May 2022, BelTA learned from the national legal internet portal.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils is $44.8 per tonne ($49.6 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline is set at $24.6 per tonne ($27.2 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants makes up $13.4 per tonne (down from $14.8).

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downward on 1 May 2022.
