MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to help Azerbaijan with the construction and restoration work in the Karabakh region. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Belarus' Architecture and Construction Minister Ruslan Parkhamovich and Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Architecture and Construction Ministry.
The meeting of the heads of the two departments took place as part of the official visit of the Belarusian delegation led by President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The parties discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation. Ruslan Parkhamovich said that Belarus attaches special importance to the development of bilateral trust-based ties with Azerbaijan. The minister emphasized that Belarus is ready to support Azerbaijan in its construction and restoration work in the Karabakh region. Belarusian designers and experts are ready to participate in Azerbaijan's urban development processes.
Anar Guliyev, in turn, praised the high level of mutual relations between the two countries. He also spoke about the work being done to restore the territories of Azerbaijan, and also the activities of the state committee and urban development reforms.
According to the press service of the ministry, the parties also exchanged views on cooperation in urban planning, design, use of modern information technologies in construction and discussed possible joint projects.
