MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) - The minimum wage has increased in Belarus to equal Br626 as from 1 January 2024, BelTA has learned.
The wage has been revised upward in line with the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 859 "On setting the monthly minimum wage" of 1 December 2023.
The Council of Ministers sets the minimum monthly wage on 1 January annually.
The Labor and Social Security Ministry previously reported that the minimum wage will increase by Br72, or 13% over January 2023. Previously, it was Br554.
