Belarus plans to supply utility and passenger vehicles to Mongolia


 

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) - Belarus plans to supply utility and passenger vehicles to Mongolia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry. 

As part of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Mongolia, Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov held a meeting with Ulaanbaatar Mayor Khishgeegiin Nyambaatar. "During the meeting, the parties discussed an entire range of bilateral relations. The main topics were trade and economic cooperation and specific cooperation projects. Emphasis was placed on the supply of utility and passenger vehicles for the needs of the city of Ulaanbaatar. Also, the Mongolian side was offered the opportunities to Belarus in terms of the supply of rolling stock for the metro," the Industry Ministry said. 

In addition, Aleksandr Yefimov held talks with Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Khayangaa Bolorchuluun of Mongolia. The parties stressed the friendly nature of Belarusian-Mongolian relations and reaffirmed their commitment to developing cooperation in the areas of mutual interest. The parties discussed the supply of Belarusian equipment to Mongolia in order to further intensify and strengthen bilateral cooperation. 

As BelTA has reported, Belarus and Mongolia will develop a roadmap for cooperation until 2026. Among the projects being explored are the supply of Belarusian farm machines and equipment, utility vehicles and road repair machines, equipment for emergency response, elevates, rock haulers, and also the projects to set up full cycle high-quality and highly efficient agricultural complexes specially adapted to the needs and requirements of Mongolian customers.
