MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – A ceremony to open Belarus' national pavilion on the Chinese platforms Jingdong and Douyin will take place in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone on 6 July. The event is timed to the 30th anniversary since Belarus-China diplomatic relations were established, representatives of the industrial park told BelTA.
According to the source, the opening will herald the start of Belarusian electronic commerce on the Chinese market. Apart from trade functionality of these platforms Chinese users will be able to discover places of interest, culture and traditions, natural wonders and history of Belarus. Videos will be published to reveal attractive peculiarities of Belarus before the Chinese audience.
Belarus' national pavilion on the Chinese platforms Jingdong and Douyin is already operating in test mode. The project's team is working on the operation of the national division of the relevant marketplaces and is working to establish contacts with Belarusian suppliers while dealing with other matters, too.
