Belarus, Oman discuss plans to step up trade, economic cooperation

MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Aleksei Bogdanov has met with Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya to thrash out plans to expand trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Oman, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.

The parties reviewed the current state of Belarus-Oman relations, discussed efforts to intensify trade and economic contacts, and explored promising avenues of cooperation.

“I am confident that we will be able not only to ramp up trade, but also to bring our relations to a higher level,” Aleksei Bogdanov remarked.

The participants of the meeting emphasized their interest in promoting cooperation and expressed readiness to work towards this goal.
