TASHKENT, 8 February (BelTA) – Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev offered to set up joint BelAZ production facility in Uzbekistan during the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Tashkent on 8 February, BelTA has learned.
“We are open. We don't have such trusting and frank relations with all countries. We talked for more than two hours [one-on-one]. A lot depends on you. There is nothing in the way of our cooperation. We very seriously intend to ramp up the mining and steel industries. We need a joint venture with BelAZ. Why don't we jointly produce BelAZ rock haulers,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
