MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – A new plant that will assemble Belarusian tractors in Moldova will go operational in September, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Anatoly Kalinin told journalists on 19 July, BelTA has learned.
There are three assembly plants in Moldova making Belarusian trolleybuses, medium-capacity tractors, and vineyard tractors.
“There are plans to open another assembly plant that will produce Belarusian tractors of higher capacity,” Ambassador Anatoly Kalinin said.
Plans are also in place to set up a facility to assemble Mogilevliftmash elevators by the end of the year and a facility to assemble lifting equipment of the Belarusian truck maker VIPO in the future.
