Belarus' National Marketing center to host conference on export to South Korea

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – The National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host a videoconference for enterprises of the Belarusian food industry and light industry that seek to export their products to South Korea on 24 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the center.

The event will be organized by the National Marketing Center and the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in South Korea with the aim to intensify trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and South Korea.

The videoconference will bring together more than 30 Belarusian companies. The program of the event includes presentations of enterprises of the Belarusian food industry and light industry, such as Minsk Sparkling Wines Factory, the textile manufacturer Kamvol, the Kommunarka confectionery, and Orsha Linen Mill.

South Korea will be represented by big importers that are KIOMA members. The participants of the event will discuss the certification procedures that will give Belarusian companies a green light to supply meat, dairy and other food products to South Korea. Belarusian companies will be updated on the terms of foreign trade activities in South Korea.
