Belarus’ National Center for Marketing to cooperate with Indian business associations

 MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – The National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus and business associations of India have agreed to cooperate, the center told BelTA following a business trip of the director of the center, Nikolai Borisevich, to India.

Nikolai Borisevich met with the leadership of Indian business associations to chart out plans to ramp up bilateral trade. The visit sought to network with representatives of the business community and build new partnerships.

In particular, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, together with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), organized a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik and representatives of large Indian businesses in New Delhi on 12 March.  

The National Center for Marketing and Price Study and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry have signed a cooperation agreement. They also agreed to arrange a Belarus-India business forum this year, which will be co-located with the next meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.

An agreement was reached with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to organize events aimed at expanding cooperation in mechanical engineering. One of the steps in this direction could be a visit of the CII delegation to Belarus during the Belagro expo.

Belarus’ delegation also met with representatives of the Chamber for Innovators and Entrepreneurs in India. They discussed the establishment of a direct dialogue at the level of tourism companies, and also agreed to hold a number of joint events online in the near future.

The National Center for Marketing and Price Study and the Universal Business and Corporate Services Centre of India discussed a roadmap to intensify contacts between Belarusian enterprises and the business community of Mumbai.
