
MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Uganda is interested in cooperation with Belarus, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda said following the talks with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko during his official visit to Uganda, BelTA learned.
“Belarus is a major producer of agricultural products. Together we can produce even more,” Yoweri Museveni said. "Belarus manufactures very good tractors. We have discussed the possibility of setting up production facilities for Belarusian tractors here.”
The parties also discussed agricultural cooperation. “We touched upon dairy products," the Ugandan president added.
Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko arrived in Uganda on an official visit on 20 February.
