MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian food industry concern Belgospishcheprom has launched a campaign titled “Rapeseed oil for healthy eating”, BelTA learned from the press service of the concern.
“Our goal is to raise awareness of this high-quality and healthy product made by domestic companies. Rapeseed oil is just as good as olive oil, but boasts higher amounts of polyunsaturated fats. Unfortunately, not many people know about it. Therefore, it is important to popularize rapeseed oil among consumers,” said Igor Grutso, head of supplies at the Belgospishcheprom concern.
Billboards advertising high-quality rapeseed oil of domestic brands will appear across the country. The advertising campaign will continue on TV, radio, on the Internet, as well as in healthcare facilities, where newsletters describing health benefits of the product will be distributed.
According to healthcare professionals, rapeseed oil is locally grown, therefore it is more preferable than other types of vegetable oil. Rapeseed oil is very good for cooking. Belarus-made rapeseed oil does not have unpleasant smell and taste, it is refined, boasts a high degree of purification and low content of saturated fats,” the food concern added.
