MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarus' Agriculture and Food Ministry Anatoly Khotko and acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia Jambaltseren Tumur-Uya signed an agreement on cooperation to build a dairy cluster in Mongolia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
“The Mongolian government plans to build a dairy plant with a total capacity of 100 tonnes of milk per day and 600-head dairy farms. The project customer is the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry,” the press service said.
Belstroytsentr has been chosen as a general contractor. The dairy plant and dairy farms will be designed by Belgiproagropishcheprom Institute and Gomelagropromproyekt Institute. Gomelagrokomplekt will be the supplier of dairy equipment.
A joint working group set up to implement the project comprises representatives of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, designers and the equipment supplier on Belarus' behalf.
