MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Representatives of Belarusian light industry enterprises have held a meeting in Russia’s Novosibirsk Oblast during the visit of Belarus’ government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich to this Russian region, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom.
The chairperson of the Bellegprom concern Tatiana Lugina delivered a report at the seventh meeting of the business cooperation council of the governments of Belarus and Novosibirsk Oblast. She also held talks to discuss ways to expand the presence of Belarusian light industry producers in Russia and the operation of the Belarusian commodity distribution network. Taking part in the meetings were representatives of Orsha Flax Mill, Kamvol, Vitebsk Carpets, Polesie, Mogotex and Conte Spa.
The head of the concern also visited several educational institutions of Novosibirsk to study the way secondary vocational education is arranged there. She also discussed the possibility to exchange best practices in personnel training for light industry.
