
MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) - Belarus is set to implement a pilot project on consolidation of goods for their delivery to the countries of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East until 1 June 2025. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No.113 of 25 February 2025, BelTA learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.
The Belarusian logistics operator Beltamozhservice has been appointed as a consignor responsible for the implementation of the pilot project and consolidator of applications for transportation of export cargoes by rail to seaports, sea ferries, port terminals, railway stations.
The Industry Ministry, Forestry Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, Bellesbumprom, Belneftekhim, Belgospishcheprom, Bellegprom, regional executive committees, and Minsk City Hall have been instructed to compile and submit batches of goods to Beltamozhservice for delivery. The Belarusian Potash Company has been recommended to do the same.
The Transport and Communications Ministry will analyze the report of Beltamozhservice on the implementation of the pilot project with the relevant conclusions and proposals and will inform the Council of Ministers on the results of its implementation no later than 10 June 2025.
