“We are discussing construction projects. There are symmetrical ones among them, such as construction of a Belarusian quarter in Astana and a Kazakhstan quarter in Minsk. We have already developed a draft road map on the matter, and we plan to coordinate it. At this stage we plan to determine the land plots and the concept, to involve state property developers. After that we will proceed to the practical implementation of the project,” said Oleg Shvets.
Another project is the joint production of ceramic tiles. “Kazakhstan has a lot of mineral resources. We are planning to launch production with the involvement of Belarusian specialists and technologies. We are studying the raw material base, then we will conduct laboratory tests and work out a business plan,” the first deputy minister said.
