MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Iran intend to intensify trade and economic cooperation, said Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, BelTA has learned.
"Our countries maintain high-level political relations. However, trade and economic relations have not been fully realized, unfortunately. During today's meeting, we found solutions to many issues," Mohammad Mokhber said.
He expressed confidence that the agreements that were reached with the Belarusian side during the negotiations will be implemented soon.
"We are well aware that the United States and the collective West have imposed sanctions against Belarus. We have accumulated a good experience and developed approaches to such sanctions. We can engage in an exchange in this area," Iran's first vice president said.
