
MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - Belarus can supply new types of machinery to Krasnoyarsk Territory, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich said at a meeting with Governor of Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov in Minsk on 19 May, BelTA learned.
Viktor Karankevich assured the governor of Belarus' readiness to continue constructive cooperation in all areas that are of interest to Krasnoyarsk Territory.
"First of all, I would like to outline the prospects in the manufacturing sector and pay attention to the machine building industry. In light of the large-scale investment projects that are in the pipeline or already in progress in Krasnoyarsk Territory in the mining and processing industries, in view of the need to replace imported equipment, there is an opportunity to increase the supply of heavy-duty dump trucks, and also new, previously not purchased equipment," Viktor Karankevich noted.
Viktor Karankevich assured the governor of Belarus' readiness to continue constructive cooperation in all areas that are of interest to Krasnoyarsk Territory.


We have already started joint work on mining and drilling equipment, equipment for underground works," the deputy prime minister said. “We are interested in supplying products of the Belarusian machine-building industry - passenger, cargo, municipal, special-purpose vehicles and farm machines. For this purpose, we also offer mechanisms of preferential financial support of deliveries, which we have already presented to the Krasnoyarsk side".
Belarus stands ready to set up a technical maintenance center for BelAZ trucks and to consider creating a multi-brand trade and service center in Krasnoyarsk Territory, Viktor Karankevich noted.
