MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) - Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak proposed holding a forum for business communities of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the international agricultural exhibition Belagro scheduled to take place in Minsk in June 2025. This initiative was discussed during a video conference meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev to mark the signing of the roadmap for Belarus-Kyrgyzstan cooperation in 2025-2027, BelTA has learned.
Following the signing of the roadmap, Anatoly Sivak emphasized that this meeting reaffirmed that Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have developed friendly relations. "I am confident that the signed roadmap will be successfully implemented and will serve as a valuable guide to advance bilateral cooperation over the next three years," he stated.

According to Anatoly Sivak, the next important step should be fulfilling the agreement to hold a business forum for the business communities of both countries in Belarus and showcasing Kyrgyzstan's products. "In my view, the most suitable venue for these events would be the largest international exhibition Belagro, which will take place in Belarus this June. We would be happy to welcome a representative delegation from Kyrgyzstan. The business forum will be a great opportunity to work out specific projects to be included in the roadmap of cooperation until 2030," he noted.

During the meeting, the roadmap Belarus-Kyrgyzstan cooperation in 2025-2027 was signed. It outlines 77 activities, including the development of bilateral trade in goods and services, cooperation in the manufacturing sector, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food and light industries and other areas.
