Belarus’ Integral to make power electronics

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - Integral plans to develop power electronics, Ruslan Bogoslav, chief assistant to the Integral director general, said in an interview to STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“A number of investment projects are currently being implemented that will help us expand our product range and improve its quality in the near future. Microelectronics is not just a high-tech industry. It is, so to speak, a driver or foundation for the country's development, because microelectronic devices, including those manufactured by us, are now found in virtually all equipment, from household LED light bulbs to nuclear reactors,” said Ruslan Bogoslav.

A number of products are being developed as part of the roadmap signed by Belarus and the Russian Federation. They will be launched on the market in the near future.

“Our products are in high demand in their niche. As part of the investment projects we are implementing, we are already modernizing our existing equipment and expanding its range and quantity. We plan to develop power electronics because electric transport development is underway, from scooters and other means of personal mobility to electric cars. Here, power devices and power electronics are needed to process electrical signals, accumulate and distribute electrical energy,” said Ruslan Bogoslav.
