Belarus' industrial output up 8.5% in January

MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – In January 2021, Belarus' industrial output amounted to Br10.3 billion, which made up in comparable prices 108.5% as against January 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

Production declined by 1.1% in the mining industry and went up 8.2% in the processing industry.

Output rose 13.4% in the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air. The industry providing water supply, waste collection, processing, and treatment, pollution cleanup shrank by 0.9%.
