Belarus' industrial output up 1% in 2019

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – Belarus' industrial output equaled Br113.5 billion in current prices in 2019, which was up by 1% over 2018 in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus

Industrial output increased by 0.4% in the mining industry, 1.3% in the processing industry, and 2.3 % in the industry focusing on water supply, waste collection, processing, and treatment, pollution cleanup.

The production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air dropped by 0.9%.

As it has been reported, Belarus' industrial output increased by 5.7% in 2018 to total Br110.1 billion.
