MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - Enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry are taking part in the international exhibition Caspian Agro in Baku, which is running on 15-17 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
Taking part in the event are MAZ, Gomselmash, MTZ, Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units, and Bobruiskagromash. The enterprises of the Belarusian Industry Ministry showcased improved samples of machinery, including innovative ones (complex for forage harvesting, reaper for grass harvesting, grain dump truck, modernized tractors, as well as mounted and trailed equipment). Plans are in place to sign a number of contracts and agreements during the exhibition.
Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, took part in the opening ceremony of the forum.
The international exhibitions Caspian Agro and Inter Food are held annually in Azerbaijan in May and represent the largest forum of agriculture and food industry in the region. Belarusian exporters are traditional participants of these exhibitions.
