Belarus, India seek closer business ties

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – Belarus and India are planning to expand their business contacts, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus following a meeting between the center’s Director Nikolai Borisevich and representatives of India’s business community.

Attending the meeting were Dr Nitin Garg,  founder of the International School of Management Excellence, and Karthik Tallam, Director of Aura Illumination and member of the Economic Council of India. Both are visiting Belarus as part of a business delegation.

The parties discussed promising areas of trade and economic cooperation. It was noted that Belarus and India have significant potential to deepen their business engagement. Particular interest was expressed in such areas as education, IT, tourism, and mechanical engineering, including electric vehicles engineering.

An agreement was reached to join efforts to strengthen ties between Belarusian and Indian businesses, leveraging the center’s role as a national institution supporting foreign economic activity.
