MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India Mikhail Kasko met with Secretary at the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying Alka Upadhyaya of India on 24 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in India.
The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of livestock breeding, export and import of animal products. Consideration as also given to certification of dairy products, training of Indian students and specialists in Belarusian agricultural universities.
The parties also talked about participation in agricultural exhibitions. An invitation was extended to the Indian side to take part in the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week and Belagro 2025 exhibition in June in Minsk.
