Belarus, Hungary reaffirm interest in maintaining business contracts

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – A Belarusian business delegation composed of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses visited Hungary. The visit was organized by the union of legal entities "Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship" in cooperation with the business club Eastern Europe from Budapest with the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy in Hungary, BelTA learned from the diplomatic mission.

The Belarusian delegation held a substantive meeting with the management and members of the business club, which was also attended by representatives of a number of Hungarian companies interested in cooperation with partners from Belarus. "The parties exchanged up-to-date information on the business profiles and promising areas of joint work and held a business matchmaking event. Agreements on cooperation were reached between business associations and individual companies," the Belarusian diplomatic mission noted.

The visit continued with a seminar on opportunities, terms and examples of business cooperation with foreign partners, which was held at the Embassy of Belarus in Budapest. The participants of the seminar received up-to-date information regarding the work not only on the Hungarian markets but also on the markets of the countries of accreditation of the diplomatic mission - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia where Belarus has offices of honorary consuls.

A number of B2B negotiations were held during the visit. The Belarusian delegation also toured the Belarus Tractor enterprise which has many years of experience in supplying Belarusian tractors to Hungary. "The business delegation got acquainted with many practical aspects of working in the foreign market, established new business contacts and has an interested exchange of ideas on the development of bilateral cooperation ties and business presence in various sectors of the economy. The parties reaffirmed interest in continuing business dialogue and cooperation and laid the basis for further constructive interaction and new projects," the embassy informed.
