Belarus' GDP 2.1% down in January-April

MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – Belarus' Gross Domestic Product (GDP) dropped by 2.1% in January-April, the National Statistics Committee told BelTA.

According to initial estimates, the GDP amounted to Br57.4 billion in current prices or 97.9% as against January-April 2021 in comparable prices.

In January-April 2022 the GDP deflator index equaled 114.3% year-on-year.
