MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) - In January-April 2024 Belarus’ foreign trade in goods and services rose by 3.1% year-on-year to total $31.4 billion, BelTA learned from the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-April 2024 Belarus had a deficit of the foreign trade in merchandise of $1.1 billion. The export made up $12.8 billion, with import at $13.9 billion.
Belarus had a surplus of the foreign trade in services of $0.94 billion. The export reached $2.78 billion, with import at $1.84 billion.
in January-April 2024 the export of merchandise and services amounted to $15.61 billion, import - $15.77 billion. The foreign trade deficit in merchandise and services made up $0.15 billion.
