Belarus' food export to Russia's Primorye Territory up sevenfold in three years

VLADIVOSTOK, 13 April (BelTA) - Belarus has increased food exports to Russia's Primorye Territory more than sevenfold in three years, Governor of Russia's Primorye Territory Oleg Kozhemyako said as he met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Vladivostok on 13 April, BelTA has learned.

The governor of Primorye Territory said that within the last three years the trade with Belarus has soared three and a half times. According to him, by the end of 2022 it will reach RUB6 billion. Belarusian food exports has demonstrated the biggest rise: from RUB130 million in 2019 to RUB1 billion in 2021.

“This year, the supply of products (contracts have been signed) will reach some RUB2 billion. There is every reason to reach this figure,” Oleg Kozhemyako said.
