
MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) - In January-April 2025 Belarus’ fixed-capital investments amounted to Br14.8 billion, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast is in the lead (24.9%) followed by Minsk (21.1%), Brest Oblast (12.9%), Gomel Oblast (13.8%), Grodno Oblast (9.6%), Vitebsk Oblast (8.9%), and Mogilev Oblast (8.7%).
As far as the technological structure of fixed-capital investments is concerned, construction and installation works accounted for 47.6%, machines, equipment, and vehicles – for 37.9%, other kinds of works and costs - 12.1%, intellectual property objects - 2.4%.
The share of state investments in the total fixed-capital investments reached 37.6%, with the share of private investments at 55.8% and foreign investments at 6.6%.
