MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – An agreement on cooperation between the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Minsk and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) was signed on the sidelines of the business forum, which was part of the Days of Minsk program in Kazan. The document was signed by First Deputy Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration Sergei Bubenko and First Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Artur Nikolaev, the press service of the FEZ Minsk told BelTA.
The agreement aims to develop partnership relations to create new investment projects and establish cooperative ties between Belarusian and Russian enterprises. In general, the forum participants discussed innovation activities, the development of high-tech industries, the expansion of transport infrastructure, tourism potential, international cooperation and new business opportunities.
Sergei Bubenko presented the investment potential and preferential regime opportunities of the FEZ Minsk and held negotiations with representatives of Russian businesses. The press service noted that the event was an important step in strengthening business ties between Belarus and Tatarstan, opening new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
