MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - In January-September 2024, the trade between the organizations of the construction industries of Belarus and Russia’s Smolensk Oblast amounted to $66.2 million, with Belarusian exports reaching $54.8 million, BelTA learned from the Architecture and Construction Ministry.
Belarusian organizations exported cement, plaster materials, wall materials, construction non-metallic materials, prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, glass and glass products, ceramic tiles, sanitary ware ceramics, polished sheet glass, etc.
The organizations affiliated with the Construction and Architecture Ministry have increased the supply of glass containers by 11 times, glass and glass products by 20% and ceramic tiles – by 115.5%.
Major imports from the Russian region were bottles, stone and gypsum products, plaster materials, mineral wool, varietal tableware, prefabricated reinforced concrete structures.
