MINSK, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarus Expo, a large-scale exhibition of Belarusian goods and services, has opened in Grozny, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
Belarus Expo in Grozny will be running from 28 to 30 July. The expo features 29 industrial enterprises. They have brought the latest products that are most in demand in the region. A representative business delegation from Belarus, composed of heads of ministries and departments and directors of large companies, are in the Chechen Republic on an official visit.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic Khasan Khakimov, Minister of Industry and Energy of the Chechen Republic Adam Khakimov, and also Chairman of Belarus' State Military and Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus, Belarusian Deputy Minister of Industry Dmitry Kharitonchik and Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin.
During the exhibition, the parties signed a roadmap on cooperation in industry, transport and housing and utilities sector.
The exposition runs two sections featuring enterprises of the Industry Ministry and enterprises of the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom. The first one is demonstrating the city electric bus E321 (Belkommunmash), tractor Belarus 1222.3 and other models of tractors (MTZ), the office car and a 32-tonne truck crane (MAZ), forage and grain harvesters (Gomselmash), advanced seeders and mowers (Lidselmash). The light industry part of the exhibition is showcasing clothing (sports, business, casual), footwear, bags and backpacks, accessories, home textiles, porcelain products and more.
The organizer of the exhibition is the State Military and Industrial Committee; the exhibition operator is Belinterexpo at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exhibition is held with the support and active participation of the office of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia in Rostov-on-Don.
