Belarus' Development Bank to grant extra Br200m for buying machines, vehicles

MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) will allocate extra Br200 million for buying machines, vehicles, and equipment. The measure is stipulated by the Council of Ministers' resolution No.427 of 28 July 2021, which was published by the national legal information registry on 29 July, BelTA has learned.

The resolution amends the Development Bank's plan for financing government programs and projects in 2021. Initially the bank intended to allocate Br500 million for buying assets and leasing them in accordance with Belarus president decree No.164. The initial sum has been raised from Br500 million to Br700 million. The extra Br200 million will be allocated in H2 2021.

As a result the Development Bank's total volume of funding of government programs and projects in 2021 has been raised to Br1.24 billion.

The Council of Ministers resolution comes into force as of the day it was passed.
