MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – In January-May 2025 companies of all forms of ownership built over 13,000 apartments. A total of 1,338,100 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Belarus commissioned some 409,500 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of better living conditions, which accounted for 30.6% of the total housing commissioned. Some 248,800 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government.
As to rural communities, 602,500 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 45% of homes commissioned in the country.
