Belarus' delegation holding B2B meetings at AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian delegation is taking part in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress) 2025 that is running in Abu Dhabi until 9 April, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

AIM Congress has established itself as a leading investment platform in the Middle East. The Annual Investment Meeting is dedicated to advancing the future of globalized investment and its industrial impact by charting the course for emerging investment trends. The panel discussions and events at AIM Congress 2025 fall under eight portfolios: Foreign Direct Investment, Global Trade, Startups and Unicorns, Future Cities, Future Finance, Global Manufacturing, Digital Economy, and Entrepreneurs.

The Republic of Belarus is participating in such a large-scale regional event for the first time. It is showcasing its potential in investment, trade and economy, logistics, and information technology. The delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin is holding a series of business meetings and negotiations on the sidelines of AIM Congress. Belarusian experts are taking part in thematic sessions and information platforms. AIM Congress gathers corporate leaders, policy-makers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics, and experts.

The Belarusian exposition at the congress features the country's industry leaders – Belintertrans state-run company, Eurotorg, Indev Solutions, as well as FEZ Brest, FEZ Gomel-Raton, and FEZ Mogilev.

For example, FEZ Mogilev presents a project to create an import-substituting production of prolonged-release fertilizers based on unique carbonate tripoli of the Stalnoye deposit. FEZ Brest displays a project of a modern fifth-class greenhouse complex designed to produce up to 18,500 tonnes of tomatoes and 13,000 tonnes of cucumbers annually. FEZ Gomel-Raton presents a project to set up a multimodal logistics hub with a port customs zone and a project to expand the cargo hub at the Gomel airport.

Belintertrans, the leader of Belarus' logistics industry, offers services within the framework of China's Belt and Road Initiative. The company arranges cargo transportation between Belarus, China and the EU, and also develops routes to the Middle East and Africa.

AIM Congress 2025 features over 20,000 delegates from 180 countries, more than 400 sub-sessions and conferences with 1,200 + speakers.

The organizers of AIM Congress 2025 have confirmed the participation of high-ranking guests in the plenary session, a series of business meetings and exhibition events. The participants include the presidents of Armenia and the Congo, the prime ministers of Cambodia and the Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as heads of international and regional organizations.

The Belarusian delegation will be taking  part in the AIM Congress events until 9 April.
