Belarus, Cuba called to keep momentum in economic cooperation

MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Cuba expect to maintain momentum in trade and economic cooperation, Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov said at the plenary session of the Belarusian-Cuban joint commission on trade and economic cooperation in Minsk on 10 June, BelTA has learned.

According to the Belarusian deputy minister of foreign affairs, last year mutual trade increased despite the negative global context, especially the sanctions pressure on both countries.

The Cuban delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz.
