MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – The upcoming five-year plan calls for a comprehensive strategy spanning modernization of the construction industry, adoption of new technologies, rational resource use, and enhanced energy efficiency, Belarusian Architecture and Construction Minister, delegate of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Studnev said, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Architecture and Construction.
Aleksandr Studnev noted that the Belarusian People’s Congress is of particular importance for the construction industry, which is directly related to the quality of life of citizens and the development of regions.
“The Belarusian People’s Congress is the strategic platform that outlines long-term development guidelines for the country and, accordingly, the entire construction industry. It is of fundamental importance to us that the decisions of the congress are based on the real needs of people: affordable and comfortable housing, development of social and engineering infrastructure, comprehensive development of regions. The new five-year period will require a systematic approach spanning from modernization of the construction industry and adoption of modern technologies to rational resource use and enhanced energy efficiency. The Belarusian People’s Congress sets a clear vector for this work and enables the industry to confidently plan the future in the interests of the state and every citizen,” the minister said.
According to him, it is within the framework of the Belarusian People’s Congress that the alignment of strategic decisions is ensured, thanks to which construction in Belarus remains one of the key drivers of sustainable social and economic development of the country.
