MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – Belarus is considering the possibility of buying an aircraft specifically for aerial photography, the press service of the State Property Committee told BelTA.
Representatives of the committee and the Austrian company Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH discussed the procedure and terms of buying such an aircraft in Vienna. The decision to consider buying the aircraft had been made by the Presidium of the Council of Ministers.
Representatives of organizations of the State Property Committee were made familiar with manufacturing premises of the Austrian company, examined technical parameters of the aircraft and their compliance with Belarusian requirements for civilian aircraft and for aerial photography.
The negotiations will continue to determine the necessary specifications and technical parameters of the aircraft Belarus intends to buy.
