Belarus-China online business matchmaking session due on 29 September

MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The Belarus-China online business matchmaking session Synergy of Innovations 2021 will be held on 29 September, BelTA learned from the Polytechnic Technology Park of Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU).

Taking part in the session will be representatives of government agencies working in the field of science, innovation and education, representatives of research and manufacturing centers, universities, start-ups, as well as entrepreneurs, heads of industrial enterprises, technology developers and experts.

The event will include a meeting of the board of directors of the Belarus-China Science and Technology Park located in the city of Changchun, a presentation of scientific, innovative and investment potential of Changchun and promising high-tech projects for joint implementation in the technopark. The experts will discuss collaboration in addressing certain science and technology tasks and commercialization of research outcomes by the Belarus-Chins technopark. In addition, the participants will discuss further steps to implement joint projects.

The event will be run by the Belarus-China Science and Technology Park in Changchun in collaboration with Belarusian National Technical University and BNTU's Polytechnic Technology Park.

The Belarus-China Science and Technology Park in Changchun was set up in 2010 at the initiative and with the support of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus and the People's Government of Jilin Province of the PRC. The main objective of the technopark is to create an enabling environment for accelerated innovative development of high-tech industries, the production of new types of science-intensive products making the most of scientific, educational and manufacturing potential of Belarus and China. The main areas of work include photoelectronics, laser technology, new materials, construction and energy, agricultural technologies and biotechnology, information technology.
